Love and happiness prevailed throught the SEGO show, as members of other bands joined ER on stage for a performance of The Talking Heads' "Psychokiller." Guests included John White of the John Whites, Josh Brown of Mathematics Etc., Landon Young of Virtual Pandas, and JR Boyce of Pierrot Le Fou.
Part of what may be fuelling the ER's emotional availability is a new album the band is working on. It seems no coincidence that the album is being produced at the same time as Congress's bailout plan. When asked about the similarities between ER's upcoming album and the bailout plan, lead singer Tony Petersen hinted that with his band's new album, there might be no need for a bailout plan. "The upcoming album will actually work in rejouvinating the economy. The tunes will be so potent that the economy will have no choice but to heave and jiggle to the point of complete prosperity. The ablum will both destroy the economy and then rejouvinate it in the course of, I don't know, two months."
The expected release date of the album is Fall/Winter/Holiday 2008-09.
