THE BOOK OF O'JAYS

1. You know, me and my woman,

2. We've been goin' through a lotta changes for about six months or so.

3. And it's been real hard to talk to one another.

4. You know, a relationship ain't notin' without communication.

5. While we were laying in bed, the both of us, lookin' at the ceiling overhead,

6. Eyes wide open, about 3 o'clock in the morning,

7. I said, "Baby,

8. "We can't go on this way..."

9. She said, "You're right!"

10. I said, "I know you love me,

11. "And I love you."

12. Then we started holding each other,
