Look at how much fun the cartoons are having!
By the way, did you realize Valentine's Day is coming up? This morning I found a pre-valentine on my door. It was the seventh grade kind, complete with smoochie smoochers and anonymity. Ten points to whoever can help me think of the best response (if I can figure out where to send it back).

I love this. I have the one and only good suggestion, which always worked for me and always worked on me. It makes things quick and painless. 1. take a quarter sheet of paper 2. fold it in half 3. draw a pink or red heart on the front 4. color it in. 5. open the note 6. on the inside inscribe in your better-best handwriting: will you go out with me? 7. then a few spaces following this script present two options "yes" or "no." If you feel the person reading the note will be brilliant enough to know to circle the one they choose then it is ready; however, if you are skeptical you may write a brief instruction; such as, "circle one of the following and return." I hope this works as well for you as it did for me. I still have all my yes or no notes from boys. It is a Win-Win, trust me. Well, unless you find out you do not like the person who actually posted the Valentine on your door, then you are screwed and possibly have a scary person as your new girlfriend. Okay, maybe this not such a good idea... and now that I think of it this may have never really been a good idea in the first place. Boys should have grown a pair and asked a girl face to face at such times as recess or lunch. Okay, i hope this was helpful. I am doubting myself now. Mmmm, have a great day though and I hope this all works out. ha ha
