We moved. Then, we moved again.
The nice people who let us sub-let for two months have finally returned from Seattle, so we've moved to a loft very near China Town in LA. Just a jaunt across the LA river.
In short, we have moved into a 25' cube next door to a cement mixing plant. On one end there is a loft, but most of the space is open to the ceiling. I'm envisioning matching beds in the loft with our names on the headboards. Below the loft are two treated rooms that have windows between them, formerly used as a sound-stage for a TV show. (studio!) The kitchen spills into the main space. This is where we'll be living for the next year.
The best part is that we can make all the noise we want, whenever we want, because this is industrial baby! I'm feeling more music/joy coming on.
