Day 256: House (1977)

Watch this gem. We saw the movie it’s from at the New Beverly Cinema. Hands down some of the most entertaining stuff we’ve seen in awhile.

Day 255: Plinq Pling

Spencer fixed his acoustic guitar, which has been out of commission for most of this week. We celebrated by practicing every song he uses acoustic on, which took like three hours. Playing that many songs, you can’t help but get off topic from time to time. This was one of those times.

Thanks for making the switch to our new Facebook page, you ER person. If you haven’t already, click the ‘suggest to friends’ link under the photo. HERE! If you did it already, do it again - seriously, Facebook doesn’t send them to all of your friends the first time. That’s it! As of now, we’re almost to 700 fans. That’s completely ridiculous for a few short days.

Day 249: Thomas

A little eye candy for those of you downtrodden spirits who have been longing to get close to Thomas. Look at that man. Look at that hair. And now, say thanks to Sean O for the picture.

We’ve finished mixing two new songs. We have about 18 songs ready to record that we haven’t released yet. Things have worked out so that we will have much more time to record over the next few months. Don’t be nervous. Just be gently enthused. Some great things are coming.

Day 247: We are ER

No explanation necessary. Being at an ER show means you can get as crazy as you want, or hang on the side. We are all ER, and many of you were at the shows in this video at some point. If you came, thank you for making these awesome parties possible! Many more great times to come.

Day 245: Why boat

This was stumbled upon on an ER computer screen today. It’s like an island sized yaht. It takes a crew of 20 to operate and is supposed to be really energy efficient. Let’s all get on one and have a great time. Go here to look it all over.

Day 244: OK Hooo!

Gotta throw it up to these OK Gents, who live up to their reputation. Apparently, this giant machine was created by the band and members of Syyn Labs over a few months. ER congratulates OK Go on all of the great moments in this video.

Day 242: E Nuff Guff

We were up late on a jam spree tonight, so I thought I’d snip you off a proper chunk of that funky stuff. Buff the cuff on this, Plouff. You mangy duff snuffer. Why don’t you come over to my huff and my muff will make you a tuft of stuff.

Did you know his actual middle name was McFeely? He was named that after his grandfather.

It’s been seven years since he died.

THE SITUATION: lights are down in ER town. People are huddled around screens, typing and listening, hunting for inspiration. We have a project going on the table, all things ER. There are clips from magazines and newspapers, and notes scribbled down, all things that remind you of ER. The big fan in the sky is turning around, making a nice bed of sound to sleep on. There’s a buzz lately that you can feel right now, a buzz that songs are on their way out, records are about to be made, and creation is going to occur more rapidly in the coming months.
