Day 121: Facebook status length check

I'm testing. Testing to see what the longest post to Facebook can be. How much of my post will you be able to see? How much of this aws'ness will you be able to hold in before you blow? Will I sail tonight, or will the humpback fail blog of posts come and read all your love letters to me before I can get them? Can I get some security in here? How about a credit card swipe? Are we kidding? Let's play tag. My profile picture is it! You don't wanna get tagged by THIS. Read the full story here. Read the full glory there. Run around with your pants on your face and your shirt on your drawers. Write a song about that one, Chelsea! And garnish it with some muesli. I'd love to change the world, but I don't know what to doo - oo - oo - oo - oooooo. [guitar riff[ That song is so boss. Are you coming to my show on Saturday night? Dressed to bless? Dressed for less? How about Can't Stop Won't Stop tonight? They got a ton of people coming. They got Imagine Dragon coming. We're all so good. When is your show? You're so good. But there's only one way for this worl' to know. You gotta feed em yo'self breakfasties. Put the spoon up to the mouf. Drizzle a little syzlle on it. Drape it with that burrr. And get that thang in yo mouf, to chew it, to knew it, to get your tongue threw it. I luuuu you.

Day 113: TV Commercial #2

Here's a new TV commercial we made. Watch it.

Thanks to Ty Arnold for being the Director of Photography. Thanks to Chris Duce for being in a band called Hot Parents, from Provo. Isn't that a good band name? It's so uncomfortable. If, like me, you're not bi, you usually only find one parent hot. And it's not like you're finding a parent to be hot most of the time anyway. I mean, a parent is a person, and how many persons are all that hot anyway?

Just kidding, you all are so dang hot. Tokyo, you so dang hot. And London, you really hot. Utah, you so dang hot. Bakersfield, you so dang hot. Greater Los Angeles and vicinity, you so dang hot. And Telluride, you so dang hot. Santa Barbara, you SO so hot.

Newest song we're working on: YOUR DOUBLE.

You're lovely.

Day 111: New jobs

ER has an announcement to make.

(announcement posture)

We have been collectively selected as the new CEOs of HP. It's easy to see why. I won't bore you with our qualifications. Instead I'll pour over the alterations. Observe above that Tom is most poised to make them. At HP, we're going to start the 'them' generation. Instead of 'my' mail, 'i'gadgets and 'me' machines, HP will lead the future by introducing products that work not for you, but for 'them.'

Imagine.

Get your theirMail account. Put up a theirSpace page to be perceived the way a board of directors like to think of you. Pull out your theirPhone to assist in violating the Patriot Act. Try to have fun with a Their Little Pony. Listen to Their Morning Jacket blah blah blah. And grab a theirScan, a scanner whose tiny motor is programmed to sound like an android version of Ronald Reagan.

Just think of it.

Now make yourself some toast, carve our names into your desk, and make a wish. (star wipe!)

Day 103: Can't Stop, Won't Stop

I've got to tell you about something I'm real juiced on lately. As a producer, one of my favorite collaborations I've been in on is about to break loose. It's called Can't Stop Won't Stop. These dudes are the real deal. If you are in Utah right now, you've got to see a show.

For those of y'all who want hip hop like a baller, do laundry proper, then this is the call.

Yes yes y'all sirs or madams.

Do you like to wear your swim flippers to bed? Do you want fluffy egg cakes made for you in real life instead of just in your dreams? Can you justify my love? You're so...dang. Sharpen up those thighs. Edge that shoe sole a little, your grassy vans are starting to look unkempt. Roll out the red carpet and put a lunch table on it, because this is third grade embarrassment for the rich and famous, starring you. They'll bury you, they'll marry you. Then they'll John Kerry you. But I will always be waiting for you.

Day 100: New exclusive track for wooo!

Check this out. It's for you. It's a new exclusive track.

Just go to the link below, and then click play or download by "Slouch and Shuffle."

Spencer is still in the hole, over the hump, emerging Sunday. That day, Aaron will sabbatoge Spencer's return to civilization by leaving for two weeks to hold a mic for an indie film. The blue stripes will fade from Tony's shirt, and he'll need to paint them on again. Following a fake argument with his woman, Tom will keep making his way down a list of things he's always wanted to do, using the guess and check method. Suddenly, the floor boards will crack open, and we'll discover Bob and Tina have been living beneath our feet all along. Then we'll all live in happiness for the rest of our lives when Bob and Tina commit their lives to making us cornbread and milk shakes for breakfast every day.

Day 98: Do we wish we were David Letterman?

It's hard to say. I mean, he appears to be irresistible, receiving female staffers advancing on him into his suite above the show's theatre people in the know dubbed 'the bunker.' Former lovers are saying, 'he's hilarious.' And, instead of having his affairs leaked by someone out of his control, he got to say, 'SOMEONE TRIED TO BLACKMAIL ME ABOUT MY AFFAIRS!" Additionally, his ratings have gone up by the double digits.

But, he also slept with people in his staff. The implicit favoritism is undeniable in that kind of situation. Plus, by doing that, he was cheating on his longtime girlfriend.

Even though I like you, David Letterman, ER says: do a better job at keeping your chaos under control. I recommend a more proper party. Perhaps our upcoming shows at Pehrspace in LA, Jimmy Bunting's house in Bakersfield, or Velour in Provo, UT.

I've got so much party!

We played the Marley House in Isla Vista, California, last weekend. More later, these are just a few of the good times. Watch for Tony singing from on top of my amp. To our pleasant spurise, everything that could go right, along with everything that could go wrong, combined and happened on Saturday night. What a happy mash up of energy! We will not forget.

IV, what an abombination you are. We love you.

Today, Spencer is starting a clinical trial, AKA he's going in the hole for a week. They're testing a drug on him. Don't worry, it's safe; we checked first. We'll see what happens when dad leaves. Actually, we'll probably just visit him a ton so we can hang out and write material.

Also, please take a minute and pray for our friend Todd Bowersox. He got into a serious motorcycle wreck last weekend, and needs you to hollar one up for him.

New ER2 song up

True to our promise, we have another ER2 song up for you. Can you go check on it for us? Just see how it's doing, see if it's still sounding good. We can't have those 1's and 0's falling out of line.

Enjoy.

Provo Tickled

Here's some video from our show in Provo last weekend, September 26. We loved coming to Provo, it was like being on leave from a war, except we're not at war. Provo, you guys rule. World, y'all rule too. IV, you're next. Dunne, we're not done yet. LA, hey.

Wisconsin, your mom's in.
