More from Utah Arts Festival last weekend, this video was taken by someone awesome. Also, thanks to Claire Valene Bagley for playing the show with us, and for having such a great middle name.
Thanks to everyone who came to the Cinema Bar last night. If you didn't make it, you missed a great night. Tandemoro finished the night with a great show, the whole place was moving.
We are currently in a dilema, and we need your assistance. With the passing of Michael Jackson, many musicians are paying tribute to the King of Pop by covering his songs. To do this would naturally be very cathartic. However, as one person said recently, "Oh no, now we're going to be hearing Michael Jackson at live shows for the next month." Should ER play an MJ song at its shows? What do you think?
Tom pointed out today that Elizabetha Report is living in Eagle Rock. ER. So cute. We moved in yesterday, had a barbecue this afternoon, and wrote songs together this evening. The neighborhood is so very nice. Here are my top favorite things about Eagle Rock in Los Angeles:
-Hills
-Hispania (fresh tortillas at grogery store, colorful buildings, great food)
-Hipsters
-our House (plenty of room)
-Donuts (sorry, couldn't think of another H)
It's going to be a good summmer, you can feel it here.
Eyes Lips Eyes, formerly known as Elizabethan Report (ER), is a spirited indie/alternative rock band which formed in Provo, Utah. They stuffed their bags and headed to the West Coast and introduced California to their aggressive new-wave musical style that has elements of punk rock, pop and funk influences. They create a style that generates a chaotic yet controlled substance. The band is influenced by All-American rock bands such as the Talking Heads, The Strokes and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

don't play covers of MJ please
Cover something Jackson 5. You'll be unique but respectful.
How did I just see this?
Whoa.
