Sorry for the delay. We've been out of internet in our new place. Our loft is in an industrial neighborhood, so we've been having a gay old time getting the man to put in the internet. Install date: next Friday. At that time, full range, top notch, high end, premier blogging will resume. Until then, enjoy this text only moment.
Some things to share: free section of Craigslist in LA is ridiculously great. We now have three couches, four beds, two arm chairs, a 3/4 size piano, and a commercial fridge.
It's been interesting living without the internet. At first, it sounded nice; we loved the idea of a simpler life, freeing ourselves from the burden of technology and being outdoorsmen and things. But after a while, we started to feel isolated. Truthfully, though, this hasn't exactly been a desert island. The supply ship has been steadily coming into shore from the Lincoln Heights branch of the Los Angeles Public Library system. I think they're still running Windows 2000 over there. The browsers won't let you go to gmail.com, you need to actually type in the www.be s So maybe if we were truly roughing it, telling everyone we were only accepting house calls, maybe then we would really be in touch with ourselves. Maybe then we would be surrounded by rainbow haired women and chocolate shakes.
