We're in two bands now.
We wanted to get really creative with the name, so we went with ER2. We thought of it because of its chronological proximity to our existing name.
ER2 is a side project of ER. It's a new songwriting outlet for the band. The songs are produced by the band, but are often written mainly by one person. It's like an ongoing White Album (Beatles album in which much of the material is essentially solo material)
